FW 190 A-8/R2 W.Nr 681 497 'White 11 + -' after re-painting by Allied personnel, 1945 (D. Wadman)
This had been 'White 11 + -' of 5.(Sturm/J.G. 4, before it was repainted overall red, with markings of 00 - L, and with 1-1-45 on the tail. The Americans did not overpaint J.G. 4's emblem on the forward fuselage. This aircraft never flew in Allied hands due to damage to the tyres.
