Data plate for FW 190 S-1 W.Nr 582 044. Peter D. Evans provided some information about this aircraft on the Luftwaffe and Allied Air Forces Discussion Forum, his source being Phil Butler's War Prizes, Midland, 1994. This aircraft was surrendered at Copenhagen/Kastrup, carrying the code 54. It was ferried to Farnborough on 17 November 1945, but crashed at Sonning, north of Reading, on 30 November 1945, killing the pilot, F/Lt. D.B. Baker. It had been assigned the number AM 37 by the British.
